ABOUT MECHANICAL ENGINEERING

Mechanical Engineering is a discipline of engineering that applies the principles of physics and materials science for analysis, design, manufacturing, and maintenance of mechanical systems. It is the branch of engineering that involves the production and usage of heat and mechanical power for the design, production, and operation of machines and tools. It is one of the oldest and broadest engineering disciplines.

MISSION

The department aims to prepare students for productive careers in the discipline of Mechanical Engineering and hence to produce engineers who accept responsibility for leadership roles in their profession, community and global society.

VISION

To offer the highest quality, contemporary education at the diploma level and to raise the technical capabilities of the rural people and the nation. To upgrade the facility and the knowledge of faculty and staff so that they contribute to the students.
